Anything from Victoria's Secret. ;)
Traditionally, the first anniversary present is paper, second is cotton. So clothing or sheets/ towels etc. (and you just bought towels!)
According to one of the websites I looked at, the 'modern' second anniversary gift is china - that might be a bit harder to work with.
Chase~Ohh.. Lingerine, good idea!
Brett~How's the weather there in the Comox Valley?
Tricia~"Look Armondo, look at the nice new towels I got for you for our anniversary!" I'm not sure that'd go over well ;) But yeah, I looked up the traditional and modern gifts too, but I doubt that I should buy him china... maybe some new underwear for him?
COME ON GUYS, I NEED MORE IDEAS!!
Brett~ I know you're in or around Courtenay, you moron! What's your REAL name?
How bout a cool tool like a Gerber or Leatherman? Paper shredder has to do with paper....Hmmm Nice paper sketch pad and charcoals or pastels or whatever he likes to work in. Photo paper to copy pics of Cherry with.....Think that is all I gots right now...
L.B.~Thanks, those would have been all good "paper" suggestions for last year, but this year is "cotton"... And as for the leatherman, that's what *I* want!!!
Um, forgive me...what on earth is a 'leatherman'????? Hope it is not what comes to my mind. (you lot have to translate for different takes on the Queens English)
I recon head over the Debembam's site, she rekons we like remote controlls for the TV. Something electronic! happy Anniversary guys.
I never go by that traditional/modern stuff. It makes the thought process too limited. Just the fact that you remembered is the point.
Other than cooking, what else does the man like? Does he like music? Does he like video games? Reading? Food? Chocolate? Electronics/gadgets? Cars? Anything nautical? Sports teams?
Does he have hobbies that he once loved to do but hasn't really bothered with latley?
What's your expense account (i.e., price range)?
Work with me, kid!
Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I'll let you know how it went in a bit!
